Hi, I'm Gioia and I am employed as a Care Worker after I completed the Step into Care programme.
What were you doing before you enrolled onto the Step in Care programme?
Before I completed the programme I was previously employed as a bar tender.
Can you give a brief overview of the training you completed with WEA?
I completed the 6 week programme with WEA where I completed the theoretical knowledge aspects of the Care Certificate and I also gained certificates in Level 1 Mental Health Awareness and Level 1 Stress Awareness.
How do you feel the Step into Care recruitment Programme supported you?
Completing the programme has changed my life. The programme manager offered fabulous support, she believed in me and gave me the confidence boost I needed to work in social care. She helped me to find my dream role with a fantastic care provider where I am happy and settled, thank you!
