Careers Ambassadors- January 2022 Events

Interested in inspiring the future workforce? Want to know more about how you can support your local schools, colleges and the community? Become a Careers Ambassador!

Please see below some more information about the events that the Careers Hub is delivering for January 2022. These are open to all ambassadors those in NHS trusts, Social Care and Primary Care. Once you have registered your interest here We will send you some further information to support you in delivering this event. We aim to allocate all events a month in advance and therefore you should hear about any events you have signed up for in January before the end of December. If you have any questions about these events please contact the careers hub.

  • 12/01/2022- 13:00-14:00: S4S- Discovery- Clinical Roles(Young People) A panel style Q&A session facilitated by the career’s hub about any clinical role within the NHS.

  • 14/01/2022- 11:00-12:00: Career’s Insight: Health and Social Care (Young People) A panel style Q&A session facilitated by the career’s hub about the jobs within health and social care- including- primary care, social care, and NHS- all jobs both clinical and non-clinical

  • 19/01/2022- 10:00-11:30 GM Highways to corporate NHS (Young people)
    A workshop highlighting the range of opportunities within corporate NHS. Ambassadors would be needed for 15-30 minutes during this time.

  • 24/01/2022- 10:00-12:30: Next Steps: Day 1(Adults and Uni Students/ Graduates) A workshop aimed at people who are changing career or graduating from university. Sessions will be split into two sections (you only need to do one): 10:00-11:10- The NHS as an employer OR 11:20-12:30- Values and Transferable skills. We would particularly value ambassadors who have had a career change into or within the NHS.

  • 24/01/2022- 14:00-15:00: Career’s Insight: Health and Social care (University Students/ Graduates) A panel style Q&A session facilitated by the career’s hub about the jobs within health and social care- including- primary care, social care and NHS- all jobs both clinical and non-clinical

  • 25/01/2022- 10:00-12:30: Next Steps: Day 2 (Adults and Uni Students/ Graduates) A workshop aimed at people who are changing career or graduating from university. Sessions will be split into two sections (you only need to do one): 10:00-11:10- Application and interviews OR 11:20-12:30- Job Search. We would particularly value ambassadors who have had a career change into or within the NHS.

  • 26/01/2022- 9:30-10:30: Career’s insight: Health and Social Care (Young People) A panel style Q&A session facilitated by the career’s hub about the jobs within health and social care- including- primary care, social care and NHS- all jobs both clinical and non-clinical

  • 28/01/2022- 12:00-13:00: Career’s Insight: Corporate Healthcare (Adults) A panel style Q&A session facilitated by the career’s hub about the jobs within health and social care that are in a corporate setting.

Ambassador Support Sessions

Please drop into these sessions to learn more about the careers hub and the events you have volunteered for. They will go through the content of the session and what is expected. You will have chance to ask questions about your events.
