Upon leaving school Molly attended college for 12 months but decided that learning in a college environment did not suit her so instead, she began an apprenticeship at a loan brokers achieving a L2 Btec National Diploma in Business and Administration, before securing a second apprenticeship for 18 months with the NHS successfully achieving a L3 Btec National Diploma in Business and Administration, going on to secure a permanent position within her current role as Office Administrator

What do they do?

Molly works front of house within her office greeting visitors arriving to the office, ensuring she directs them to the correct contact. Molly manages the board room, booking dates into the diary for use of the room; also ensuring the correct equipment requested is available for meetings on the day. Also as part of her role, Molly covers the responsibilities of six Personal Assistants within her office over the course of the week; this enables her to gain lots of experience within this role. Molly has lots of emails to address as part of her role and also takes minutes and sends papers out accordingly for a number of meetings each week within her team, also ensuring stationery is ordered for the team as it is needed.

What’s the best thing about their role?

Molly feels that the best part of her role is the fantastic team that she works with!

Where are they going from here?

Molly feels that she has been supported really well whilst carrying out her apprenticeship and appreciates the time and support she was given in order for her to complete the necessary course work as part of her apprenticeship. In the future Molly would like to progress in to a permanent position of a Personal Assistant within the team
