What: Taking place from 05/03/2018-09/03/2018 MFT are planning a weeks’ worth of events, communications and stands to encourage as many people from our community to consider an Apprenticeship role with us as a starting point for their careers. We have external training providers attending to promote their apprenticeship programmes throughout the week. MFT offers a range of apprenticeship programmes, creating a fantastic opportunity for people in our community to step into the health service as well as enabling our existing staff to enhance their employment prospects. We look for candidates who are keen to develop a career in a range of clinical or corporate roles within the NHS. What: A free one-day course on safer recruitment, aimed at HR professionals in Greater Manchester with responsibility for recruitment, retention and equality and diversity matters, as well as those responsible for safeguarding and in-houselegal counsel. This interactive course Delivered by Freshfields legal officers, will cover the main aspects of recruiting safely and fairly, with particular focus on dealing with criminal record disclosure or allegation information and conducting risk assessments on applicants or existing staff who have criminal records.
