Giving learners the opportunity to meet NHS professionals

Events are taking place throughout the year where you can learn about careers in the NHS and talk to NHS staff and other professionals about the jobs they do. University of Manchester Postgraduate Nursing and Midwifery Open Evening

Recruiting Safely and Fairly: One day training session

When: 30/11/2018 - 10:00-16:30

Where: Freshfields, One New Bailey, Salford, M3 5JL

What: A free one-day course on safer recruitment, aimed at HR professionals in Greater Manchester with responsibility for recruitment, retention and equality and diversity matters, as well as those responsible for safeguarding and in-houselegal counsel. This interactive course Delivered by Freshfields legal officers, will cover the main aspects of recruiting safely and fairly, with particular focus on dealing with criminal record disclosure or allegation information and conducting risk assessments on applicants or existing staff who have criminal records.
