This presentation template is designed for NHS staff who are presenting to groups of learners. It has a number of sample slides that you might like to use when presenting and includes advice on how to structure and improve your presentation. The template starts with a few pieces of key advice followed by the sample slides and is designed to be adapted by any NHS staff or NHS Careers Ambassadors prior to an engagement session.
This presentation template gives you an interactive activity that you can use in classroom or workshop settings to inspire learners about your career. You give clues as to your current role and activities and they have to guess what it is you do for a job. This is a great way to introduce yourself and your profession whilst involving the learners and keeping them interested.
This is a link to some ideas for 'ice breaker' activities on the Health Careers website. Ice breakers are really beneficial to energise, motivate and encourage young people to work together; they often work well at the start of presentations. Some of the ideas given are suitable for sitting, whilst others are table-top activities and there are also some more energetic ones for moving around.
